i shot a fawn::The mother doe nurses her fawn, then decides the little one has had enough.
I looked out the sliding door window by my deck on the day i shot this footage to see the fawn grazing out on the lawn.
A few footsteps and a little while later, i saw the adult deer, which had been around the corner, and realized that i had a chance to film a doe and her fawn.
I got a little footage of them grazing and nibbling leaves.
After a couple of minutes or so, the doe moved off the right while the fawn continued to nibble leaves.
I was feeling pretty good about the footage i had and thinking that was probably about as good as it was going to get.
Then, to top it all off, the fawn rejoined its mother and started nursing.
Wow, talk about being in the right place at the right time!
